My advice: update to a modern OS (doesn't Apple allow updating the OS?). You can find a list of current downloads on our download page. In other words, GIMP may call a system function somewhere which your version of OSX doesn't have (and I would expect GIMP would crash then).Īctually even our download page may be wrong as I think we officially support for macOS 10.10 for the GIMP 2.10.x branch (but the packager still builds for 10.9, whatever that means it's a bit fuzzy to me too). You may try to install anyway but chances are that it won't work. Download Mac OS X 10.7 (11a494) Lion Install DVD - full iso image torrent. Mac OS X 10.6.x Snow Leopard & 10.7.x Lion 64 bit: GIMP. My Traktor version is very old and I wanted to know if i can download a different version maybe version 2.5 which is compatible with MAC OS 10.6. I tried downloading the new Traktor version 'TRAKTOR PRO 2.6.8' but it cannot be installed on my Mac because I'm running OS 10.6.8. So yeah Wikipedia tells me that OSX 10.6.8 is unsupported by Apple since February 2014 (nearly 5 years ago!). DOWNLOAD: Mac OS X 10.8.x Mountain Lion: GIMP 2.8.2 for Mountain Lion. The issue is that I'm using Traktor version 2.1.2. We just don't have the resources to do more (actually for macOS, lately we just have a single recurrent contributor, and he doesn't have as much time for GIMP as us).
