The Spotify iPhone app is available for free in the UK App Store. It also lets you make a song queue, skip songs, shuffle play, loop a song or a queue, go back to a previously played song, and many more. The design is very nice and I think this will make me save a lot of time when starring songs and checking out artist profiles on Spotify. But other than that, I couldn’t find a screen specifically detailing my existing queue.Īnother new feature is the Twitter-like swipe bar that contains buttons to star a song, add it to a playlist, jump to an artist or album page, and queue. Quickly add a track to your Now Playing queue: Tap the three dots icon beside it select Add to queue. From the menu, select the Remove from queue option to remove that individual song from your queue. In the Queue menu, hover over a song and select the three-dots menu icon next to it. As we say goodbye to the first half of 2022, the team put their heads together to determine their picks on the best podcasts of the year. Select the Queue icon in the bottom left to view your currently queued songs and podcasts. Spotify’s Podcast Editorial team is constantly tracking new shows, making them the perfect people to recommend great podcasts that will leave you hooked. You can choose to add several songs at a time, for instance, by clicking and dragging an entire album or playlist to the Queue. One way to do this is to click and drag a track to the Play Queue button in the sidebar (you can also right-click a song and select Queue). To clear your queue, open the Spotify web player and sign in. You can manually add songs to the Play Queue and bypass Spotify’s default queue. As you build your queue, Spotify will keep adding songs on top of each other, letting you choose which songs you want to listen to without constantly going back to a playlist and hit the play button. The thing is, it can take a little bit of getting. Just click the Play Queue button to access the Play Queue page, which displays the track currently playing, followed by the tracks that are queued up to play next. Whilst there’s still no version for iPad available – but we know they’re working on it – the latest Spotify for iPhone allows you to add a song to the play queue and listen to it as soon as the song that’s currently playing is over. The Play Queue, an option on the Spotify main sidebar, is a neat little feature that tells you what Spotify’s going to play next.
